Bold colorful pottery for your home
Frequently Asked Questions
At Bob's Pottery, I pride myself on crafting unique pieces that embody the beauty of nature. Every pot is a work of art, made with high-fired porcelain or stoneware, and brought to life with my exquisite underglaze painting techniques. This process gives each piece its vibrant, bright colors and one-of-a-kind character. My goal is to create pottery that is not only beautiful but also functional, seamlessly blending artistry with your daily routine.
Q: Your shop is sold out. When will you have new pottery available?
A: As a one-person operation, I create my pottery in small, unique batches. I restock the shop with new pieces every four to six weeks. The best way to know about new work is to join my mailing list, where I announce restock dates before they are posted on social media. For a faster checkout, you can create an account by clicking "Log In" in the menu.
Q: Can I reserve an item, preorder, or commission a piece?
A: All items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis in my shop.
Q: I had an item in my cart, but it disappeared before I could check out. What happened?
A: Items are not reserved when they are added to your cart. They are only yours once you complete the checkout process. To avoid disappointment, I highly recommend creating an account in advance. This saves your information and makes the checkout process faster.
Q: Will you be making more of a specific item?
A: Each pot I create has a unique, individual design.
Q: Are your pieces dishwasher and microwave safe?
A: Yes, my pottery is made with high-fired porcelain or stoneware clay and food-safe glazes. While they are safe for both the microwave and dishwasher, I always recommend hand washing. The gentle bumps and shifts that can occur in a dishwasher may increase the risk of chipping or breaking. Please handle your piece with care.
Q: How do you ship? Do you combine multiple orders?
A: I currently ship within the USA only via USPS. You will receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your order ships. I use new boxes and recyclable packing materials whenever possible. For safety, I usually ship each piece in its own box. However, if you purchase smaller, more durable items, they may be combine in a single package.
